Nourish your spirit in this special workshop created by the distinguished leader of one of the largest Unitarian Universalist churches in the denomination.

A workshop to strengthen your own heart-wisdom, teach you to welcome life rather than fear it, and help you become more attentive to sacred relationships in your life.

Please save the weekend of April 1-3 to attend our Second Annual Distinguished Speaker Series, featuring The Rev. Dr. Laurel Hallman, Senior Minister at Dallas’s First Unitarian Universalist Church.

Her seminar, “Living By Heart”, teaches practical ways to nurture your inner self, claim the wisdom of the ages in the midst of your busy lives, and live with depth, meaning, and purpose.

We will be guided through the basic elements of devotional practice:

• waiting as a source of spiritual nourishment
• welcoming life rather than fearing it
• noticing sacred relationships all around you
• recording words of wisdom and poetry that speak to you
• living with the words until they become part of your own heart-wisdom
• moving from a center of inner strength in to the world

Join us in our sanctuary for the seminar: Friday, April 1, from 7:00-9:00 P.M. and Saturday, April 2, from 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. and to hear Laurel preach on Sunday morning, April 3.
